Since the size of financing through debt instruments is three times that of financing through banks in the U.S., while it is almost non-existent in Saudi Arabia, we see a great opportunity in Sukuk to create a new financing channel for economic enterprises by issuing Sukuk. With the strong support from the Financial Sector Development Program and the Capital Market Authority, which has approved fintech products focusing on the use of technology in financial services, we believe that issuing Sukuk through an electronic platform that connects investors with those seeking Sukuk financing will enhance the efficiency and coverage of the offerings and help reach the widest possible range of issuers and investors.
