What is the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC)?

 

The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) 2024 is the largest competition of its kind globally, with entrepreneurs participating from 151 countries. The competition was launched by the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) in 2019 in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network, with the finals held annually in Riyadh. The competition provides training, guidance, connections with investors, and cash prizes totaling up to one million US dollars, in addition to various in-kind prizes exceeding one million US dollars.

Competitors are filtered and selected through national competitions in 151 countries, and then the top 100 qualifiers proceed to the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, which will be held in Biban24 Forum.

 

What are the objectives of the competition?

- Supporting entrepreneurs from all over the world and in various fields, whether their startup is in the idea stage, early-stage (seed), or in the growth stage.

- Providing entrepreneurs with tools and resources to develop their startups, hone their presentation skills, and interact with a global network of mentors and guides.

- Facilitating communication with global investors and networks and representing the Kingdom in international forums.
