Biban Forum 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) from 5 to 8 November at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities”, features the participation of 43 universities from across the Kingdom, competing with 847 startup ventures in the University Entrepreneurs Competition.
The competition journey spanned more than three months, starting with the application phase, followed by preliminary qualification phase, and a virtual boot camp, concluding with the selection of 10 finalist startups that completed an in-person bootcamp and advanced to the closing ceremony where the final results will be announced as part of the Biban Forum 2025.
A total of 30 startup ventures qualified: 15 in the Idea Stage, 13 in the Early Stage, and 2 in the Growth Stage. The competition has benefitted 2,059 male and female students, who received more than 147 mentorship sessions and participated in 12 workshops.
Monsha’at launched the University Entrepreneurs Competition to energize the entrepreneurial ecosystem within Saudi universities, spotlight young talent, and cultivate a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus, empowering student-led startups to compete both locally and globally.
Biban Forum 2025 continues to solidify its role as a national platform that brings together knowledge, opportunity, and entrepreneurial experience under one roof, helping to build a diversified and sustainable economy aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
