The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Malaysian Franchise Development Company, PERNAS, as part of the activities at the Biban24 Forum.

The agreement was signed by Monshaat Governor Sami Al-Husseini and the Chief of Corporate Strategy at PERNAS, Hazina Binti Mohamed.

The aim of the agreement is to enhance collaboration between the two sides in the field of franchising by exchanging knowledge and expertise, offering training programs, and providing advisory services to support franchising in the Kingdom. The agreement also includes inviting franchise brands to participate in exhibitions and workshops organized by both parties, as well as facilitating the participation of brands looking to expand into local and international markets.

This agreement is part of Monshaat's ongoing efforts to develop and enhance the franchising ecosystem in the Kingdom through international partnerships.

The Biban24 Forum aims to foster an entrepreneurial environment and spread a culture of entrepreneurship by introducing the initiatives offered by Monshaat to entrepreneurs and innovators. It also provides a platform for government entities to inform entrepreneurs about the necessary steps to establish and grow their businesses.
