The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) will host Biban24 Forum, themed "Global Destination for Opportunities", from November 5 to 9 in Riyadh. The event will bring together over 250 local and international speakers, and 1,350 exhibitors representing entrepreneurs from domestic and international markets. The forum seeks to foster the growth and competitiveness of entrepreneurial ventures, cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship, and empower aspiring entrepreneurs, to increase the number of new companies. It also aims to identify investment opportunities for projects in both the public and private sectors, and to familiarize youths with innovative ideas and investment strategies that align with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes increasing the small and medium enterprises’ contribution to the GDP. Monsha'at Governor Sami Alhussaini said in a press release issued today: "Biban 24 forum serves as a platform for entrepreneurs to discover new opportunities and promote the growth and sustainability of small and medium enterprises." He added: "The forum also paves the way for future collaborations in innovation between entrepreneurs from Saudi Arabia and international counterparts, both regional and global. It offers a valuable platform for direct interaction among thousands of changemakers, entrepreneurs, and supporters of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, ultimately contributing to a more prosperous future for all." Over 150 entities from the public and private sectors dedicated to supporting small and medium enterprises in areas such as capacity building and e-commerce will participate in the forum. They offer their services to help address challenges and obstacles that may hinder the growth of these businesses in various sectors. The forum will also host the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, featuring participants from 151 countries. Saudi Arabia is hosting the final qualifiers of this largest entrepreneurship competition of its kind globally, and the closing ceremony, and will distribute awards. The top 100 entrepreneurs who have qualified for the finals will participate, competing for cash prizes of up to $1 million. During Biban24, some 420 training workshops expected to benefit over 19,000 participants will cover a wide range of topics aimed at fostering a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem and empowering emerging companies to achieve growth and sustainability. The forum is anticipated to attract over 120,000 attendees. It consists of nine doors designed to cater to the diverse needs of small- and medium-sized enterprise owners and entrepreneurs in various industries. They are: Start, Enablement, E-commerce, Funding and Investment, Innovation, Startup, Franchise, Fast-growing Enterprises, and Market. The forum is expected to feature numerous launches and agreements that directly impact the entrepreneurship sector across various industries. The forum aims to foster investment in small- and medium-sized enterprises, stimulate their growth, and facilitate the emergence of new companies in the local market through diverse financing solutions.
